Giving Thanks

As Thanksgiving approaches, we, like most, find ourselves taking a few moments to reflect.  It is hard to fathom that Eyelevel has been in existence for fewer than six months.  Our plans for a soft launch in the latter half of this year were rather quickly altered as we had the good fortune of working with an array of wonderful clients rather quickly.  We are thankful to our founding partners for their confidence in EyeLevel.  We have thoroughly enjoyed assisting them in developing deeper insight into their markets and (prospective) customers, helping to shape their upcoming product launches and marketing and sales plans, and in growing their revenue.  We are delighted that our message of driving growth through customer insight has touched a nerve across so many different types of organizations. We are excited to continue our work with many of these companies and to engage with others in the coming months.

We are also thankful for the broad experiences (both good and bad) we had in the education space.  Starting and growing a new company is never without risk, but we have been able to tap into our collective 40+ years of experience to assist our clients with projects that span K-12, higher education, and corporate learning.  We consider ourselves lucky to have so many friends and contacts across the spectrum of education who have been kind enough to provide us their knowledge, advice and counsel.  We will continue to count on them (and hope that they will continue to count on us) as we move into 2015.  We are fortunate to share a passion and appreciation for education and work with companies who do as well.  Whether building more actionable professional development programs, increasing student engagement by bringing the real world into learning materials, or assisting colleges to design online courses that better align with student need, our customers seek a bottom line that extends far beyond a P&L; and so do we.

Last but not least, we would be remiss if we did not thank our families, friends, and former colleagues for their support—personal and professional.  Making the leap from our collective vision, ideas, and belief in what could be to actually establishing a firm required a lot of support, encouragement, and reminders of why we were doing this in the first place.  In retrospect, we wonder what took us so long, but this was far from a foregone conclusion along the way.  We are so grateful to so many for allowing this dream to become a reality.  And we are ready for more.   If you think you or any of your friends might benefit from our experience and perspective, we would be thankful for an introduction.

Thanks for indulging us in this bit of introspection as we enter the holiday season.  May you be filled with good spirit and insight!
